   The Dunstable Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, October 20th, 2025, at 6:35pm at the Dunstable Town Hall, 511 Main Street, lower level, to consider the application submitted by Michelle Larkin – Celtic Builders LLC for a Special Permit and Site Plan Review under Section 11.7 and according to Section 14.5 of the Town of Dunstable Zoning Bylaw.  The applicant wishes to create a backland lot for construction of a new single-family dwelling with driveway, associated utilities, grading, drainage, septic system and other appurtenances. The subject parcel contains 11+/- acres with ~630’ of frontage on High Street, Dunstable, MA assessor’s map 15 block/lot 24-0, and is in the R-1 Residential zone.  Owners of the property are Sheila Melancon and Rae-Ann Melancon, Trustees of 473 High Street Realty Trust, of 473 High St, Dunstable, MA 01827.

Designer Services – Union Building Interior Improvements

  Sealed proposals will be received at the Dunstable Town Administrator’s Office, 511 Main Street, Dunstable, MA 01827 no later than 2 PM, August 26, 2025 at which time and place they will be opened for the following: Designer Services: Union Building Interior Improvements

The contract award is made by the Dunstable Select Board. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and waive any informality in the proposal process, if deemed in the Town’s best interest.

Proposal documents are available upon request after 10:00 AM on July 22, 2025 from the Town Administrator’s Office at Dunstable Town Hall, 511 Main Street, Dunstable, MA 01827 or on the Town Administrator’s webpage at https://www.dunstable-ma.gov/town-administrator under the Invitation for Bids and Request for Proposals tab.

The Designer’s fee will be negotiated, but shall not exceed one hundred thousand dollars and zero cents ($100,000). 

Proposers must have completed similar work in the state of Massachusetts within the last two calendar years, must be licensed and registered in Massachusetts, and have five years of experience providing relevant services. All sub-consultants must be listed and qualifications must be provided.

   The Dunstable Conservation Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 7:00pm at the lower level – Dunstable Town Hall, 511 Main Street, to consider a Notice of Intent filed by Colin Loiselle and the Town of Tyngsborough, for property owned by the Commonwealth of MA located at Upper Massapoag Pond, in Tyngsborough, Groton, Dunstable MA.  All Habitat Services, LLC proposes to apply aquatic labeled herbicides to the waters within the land under waterbodies and waterways including: diquat dibromide, flumioxazin, and fluridone; to reduce the dense infestations of curly leaf pondweed, eurasian milfoil, fanwort, and variable leaf milfoil.  These nuisance and invasive plant species offset the natural balance of the pond and impair the aesthetic and recreational function of the pond. This is a joint hearing under the requirements of MGL Ch. 131 §40, as amended, and the Dunstable Wetlands Protection Bylaw and Regulations, as amended.    Notice is hereby given that under General Laws Chapter 140 §157, the Town of Dunstable will hold a Dangerous Dog Hearing on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 6:05pm, at Dunstable Town Hall, 511 Main Street, to determine whether the dog that resides at 139 Off Pond Street is a nuisance or is dangerous.

   The Dunstable Conservation Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, June 23, 2025, 7pm to consider a Notice of Intent filed by Anthony Rotella for property owned by Anthony Rotella and located at 161 Off Pond Street, Map 13, Blocks 56 & 57 Lot 0.  Mr. Rotella proposes to construct a single-family addition, porch, remove tight tank, install subsurface sewage disposal system, concrete pad, extend and rebuild landscape wall, relocate propane tanks, repave driveway, grading and associated utilities within the 100-ft.    The Town of Dunstable is accepting sealed bids until 12pm on Wednesday June 25, 2025 at the Town Hall, Highway Department, 511 Main Street, Dunstable MA 01827 for Full Depth Reclamation. You can request a bid packet Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9am-12pm by emailing KHooper@Dunstable-ma.gov. Sealed bids will be opened on June 25, 2025 at 3pm

   There is no Pre-Bid Conference.  The bidding and Award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. c.30 39M.  The Town of Dunstable reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town.  

   Contractors must be DOT prequalification in Pavement Reclamation. Five (5%) Bid Deposit 50% Payment Bond is required for this project.

The proposal includes 12 affordable rental cottages and 36 market-rate rental cottages. The property contains 28.51+/   - acres of land and is located in the R1/MUD District.    In accordance with MGL, Ch. 131 §40, as amended, and the Town of Dunstable Local Wetland Bylaw, as amended, the Dunstable Conservation Commission (DCC) will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 6:45pm to consider a Notice of Intent (NOI) filed by New England Power Company. The applicant proposes to conduct general maintenance & improvement activities along the 326 Transmission Line ROW, including structure replacements and access road & work pad improvements. The 326 Line ROW runs for approximately 4 miles through the Town of Dunstable, from the Groton/Dunstable Town border, to just north of Lowell Street.  Work will occur within the 100-ft Buffer Zone to BVW/Inland Bank, 200-ft Riverfront Area, and NHESP Estimated Habitat. Copies of the NOI may be examined at the office of the DCC, located at 511 Main Street, Dunstable MA 01827.
