Dunstable Conservation Commission PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

   The Dunstable Conservation Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 7:00pm at the lower level – Dunstable Town Hall, 511 Main Street, to consider a Notice of Intent filed by Colin Loiselle and the Town of Tyngsborough, for property owned by the Commonwealth of MA located at Upper Massapoag Pond, in Tyngsborough, Groton, Dunstable MA.  All Habitat Services, LLC proposes to apply aquatic labeled herbicides to the waters within the land under waterbodies and waterways including: diquat dibromide, flumioxazin, and fluridone; to reduce the dense infestations of curly leaf pondweed, eurasian milfoil, fanwort, and variable leaf milfoil.  These nuisance and invasive plant species offset the natural balance of the pond and impair the aesthetic and recreational function of the pond. This is a joint hearing under the requirements of MGL Ch. 131 §40, as amended, and the Dunstable Wetlands Protection Bylaw and Regulations, as amended.
