Groton Greenway River Festival

Groton Greenway River Festival returns Sunday, June 24 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., complete with the famous cardboard canoe races. All events are free. There will be canoeing all day courtesy of Nashoba Paddler LLC, lots of environmental displays and children's activities, and musical guests including Native American drummers. Food will be available for purchase. The Festival is held on the bank of the Nashua River at the Petapawag boat launch, Nod Rd., Groton. Goal of River Festival is to bring everyone out to celebrate the Nashua River. Groton Greenway Committee needs help to make this the event of the summer.
