Is GDRS Still Committed To Providing The Best Education For Each Student?

Did you know the School Committee added a new position to the 2022 budget, “Coordinator of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Wellness”. That means our schools are no longer, “committed to providing the best possible education for each student” as the mission statement claims. Now all students should ideally have equal outcomes. Not equal opportunity. No, now they want “equity” where everyone’s outcomes are the same.

The Groton Herald is always eye-opening. "The Fate of Groton Colonials Who Rejected The Revolution" was a revelation. Thank you Joshua Vollmar! Required reading for any classroom. What was clear from Mr. Vollmar's piece is that citizens who are likeminded can put pressure to bear on others who are not (likeminded). The end result of this like-mindedness may be good or bad, but only time reveals this.
