A lovely evening boating adventure gone awry. A Groton man, preparing to launch his boat at Baddacok Pond at the public boat launch, anticipating a pleasant summer-evening cruise around the pond, didn’t set his parking brake, so his boat, trailer and car all ended up sliding into the pond, requiring police assistance.

I must admit wheelchair rugby is a sport I have never observed. Recently, a group of wheelchair athletes were working out on the tennis courts at the GDRHS.

Caught in the Act! This squirrel managed to get into the birdfeeder! Now the homeowners had to decided what to do next: leave it there and not resupply the feeder for an indefinite time, or be compassionate and release it?
