Sara Woods Named Clark University Softball Captain

2016 Groton-Dunstable graduate Sarah Woods was recently named captain of the 2020 Clark University softball team. Former Lowell Sun Player of the year, now a senior majoring in psychology, Sarah is a four-year starter for the Clark Cougars. Upon graduation she will be attending graduate school to be a licensed school adjustment counselor. Sarah is the daughter of Keith and Maureen Woods. (Courtesy photo)


Chloe Brush Aces Slalom, Takes Overall at State

Chloe Brush, was first in the Slalom and second in GS, and was the overall winner at the states Wednesday, March 4 (after the Herald had gone to print). Parent Education Series: Supporting Children's Positive Behavior

FREE Parent/Caregiver Workshops from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on first 3 Thursday mornings in March (3/5, 3/12 and 3/19) at Townsend Public Library , 12 Dudley Road, Townsend. Come learn powerful tools for nurtur- ing relationships, why children do what they do, and practical and effective strategies for challenges. Child care provided for those who register.


Due to recent events and out of an abundance of caution, Nashoba Chamber of Commerce has decided that it is best to postpone the “Taste of Nashoba”. Melissa Fetterhoff, President and CEO of the Chamber, is working with the team at Lawrence Academy to coordinate a date in the future.
