District Purchases Clorox Total 360 Machine to Combat Coronavirus

Groton Dunstable School District has ordered a Clorox Total 360 System. The system uses an electrostatic sprayer along with school safe Clorox disinfectants and sanitizers to ensure all surfaces including hard to reach places are properly treated. The School’s maintenance staff will utilize this system during non- school hours and will clean every school building in the district, including the Boutwell Pre- School and the Twomey Youth Center.

Superintendent Shoots Down Rumor of Coronavirus Infection

To quell a false rumor that the coronavirus had infected members of a Groton family, Superintendent Laura Chesson released a letter to the Groton-Dunstable Community explaining the facts. Chesson wrote that the rumor was started by a social media message posted by a high school student the previous evening saying that “they had been infected with the coronavirus.”

HELPFUL TIPS: • Avoid close contact with people who are sick. • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. • Stay home when you are sick. • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe. • CDC does /not/ recommend that people who are well wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.
