Hunter O’Toole of Groton, Class of 2021, has been named to the Headmaster’s List for Semes- ter 1 of the 2019-2020 school year at Worcester Academy.
 

It's Wild Out There

It’s mating season. Lynx rufus [bobcat] activity has picked up the past couple of weeks because everybody is on the prowl. Look out your window at dawn or dusk and you could catch a glimpse of a bobcat. We saw a big one less than a mile from the Center of the town. Photo by Scott Eggimann.

 

Groton Dog Licenses - Then & Now

A license for your dog is nothing new. In a recent search of the Town Clerk’s vault we found the earliest records of dog licenses dating from 1869. The earliest dog license we found came from the Groton History Center, dated 1878.
