Extensive Damage To Town Hall When Water Break Floods Rear of Building On Holiday Weekend

   With Town Hall employees celebrating the long Fourth of July weekend, no one expected to return to their offices on Monday to find serious water damage to the first and second floor offices, the hallways and the elevator shaft at the back side of Town Hall.

Groton Man’s Ancestors Were Killed at Lancaster During King Phillips War

 Discovering close ancestral ties to colonial Massachusetts led Ft. Devens Museum’s guest speaker for July, Mark Deuger, to study especially the story of King Philip’s War. Mark shares what he has learned in a talk on July 20 at the Museum, 94 Jackson Road, starting at 1 p.m. as the Museum continues to open its doors to the public each third Saturday of every month from 10 a.m.

It’s Official: Former Donelan's Market Is Now Kilbourn Place

The real estate transfer of 240 Main Street to its new owner took place on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.  At the closing, from left to right, were Main Street Bank Senior Vice President, Stephen J. Sugar, Jr. and the bank's attorney Thomas A. Gibbons, Esq. of Ayer.  The Buckingham family was represented by sellers' attorney Scott Eriksen, Esq.
