SPORTS: Calling All Ladies!

Changes are becoming more evident at Groton Country Club. Two of the core businesses, the golf operation and Tavern are both looking very different from previous seasons. New contractors, Jim Tennant (PGA Professional) and Luke and Katie Kenney (owners of The Blackbird Café and the new Tavern at Groton Country Club), have things shaping up nicely.

Both parties are promising change that has already begun to make the facility more attractive to both Groton residents and those in surrounding communities. There is more than golf here!

The first new event, Calling All Ladies, is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, 6-9 p.m. The evening includes:

Hard Tail Yoga Apparel Trunk Sho;, Groton Wellness Spa and Café, Summer Programs; New England Yoga Information; Introduction to Yoga offerings; Question and answer; PGA professional summer junior golf camp information. In addition, a unique program will be unveiled, sunset yoga by the pool.

Wine, hors d'oeuvres will be offered by the Kenneys. Door prizes will be awarded and Groton-Dunstable Regional High School Jazz Band will provide musical entertainment.

This event is one of the many offerings at Groton CC. Activities support and encourage physical fitness and wellness. Take the opportunity to attend nd allow the professionals at Groton to serve your recreational interests.
