A Salute to the Seniors on the 2020 G-D Baseball Team

These seniors on the G-D team worked hard all winter preparing for this year's season. Photos from top to bottom:
-Brendan Ferrari is a four-year varsity player, a 2019 MidWach MVP and a true leader in the program. He will be attending and playing baseball for the UMass Boston Beacons next year. He's seen here celebrating a walk-off homer last season.
-Jared Phelps is a four-year member of the GD baseball program and worked extremely hard all winter to get ready for this season. Total team guy who has never missed a ses- sion, and never stopped improving! Jared will be attending UMass Amherst next year.
-Ryan Donaruma put in tremendous effort to make himself a more versatile player. He played wherever he was needed, even catcher, and was 100% effort 100% of the time. Ryan is an Eagle Scout and is off to St. Michael’s in Vermont next year.
-Joe O’Malley is a four-year varsity player and a true wizard with the glove in the infield. Joe’s game has never stopped improving and he’s one of the smoothest fielders we’ve had in the program. Joe will be attending St. Anselm’s next year.
-Stevie Dzwonek (1B) put in work this winter and was primed for a solid season. Never intimidated by the moment, Stevie was always ready to compete whenever we called on him. Presently Steve has yet to decide which col- lege he will attend.
-Jared Whitby transferred from Bedford, MA his junior year and immediately made a huge impact on and off the field for the Crusaders. He was a 2019 MidWach All-Star and will be attending / playing baseball for Mitchell College in New London, CT next year.
