Tardif, Mike Kerwin), Josh Rabbitt (Assists: Stephen Mullins, Nathan Rabbitt), and Sean Mahoney (Assists: Allan Haynes, Adam Kmetz) shorthanded goal had GD ahead 3-0 before Kyle Gauthier (Assists: Steve Hillson, Joseph Williams) got the Tigers on the board at 12:40 of the first period.

Nathan Rabbitt (Assists: Garrett March, Stephen Mullins), Derek March (Assists: Allan Haynes, Connor Maguire) and J.J. Tardif (Assists: Derek March,Anthony Resca) tallied goals in the second while Adam Kmetz (Assists: C.J. Kenny, Brad Zadronzny), Anthony Resca (Assists: Allan Haynes, Mike Keating) and Mike Noeth (Assist: Matt Ovenden) lit the lamp in the third. Brendan Hunter was in goal for the Crusaders.
