Off to a three and eight start, Groton Dunstable field hockey regrouped, ran off six straight wins and qualified for the post season with a 9-9 record, the first trip since 2011. Photo by Robert Mingolelli

Coming from behind, GD tied the game at 1-1 in the second half when Noel St. Germain (assist: Hannah Barnes) drove a shot past Nashoba keeper Caylie McMahon. The Lady Crusaders celebrated after St. Germain’s score but moments later NR answered to regain the lead but by game’s end, the Chieftians knew they were fortunate to come out of the game with their unbeaten streak intact.
