On Saturday Nov 18, the Parker Boys Cross Country Team won the Division II MIAA State Championship. This is the first ever State Championship for any Parker Team. Quinn Cantrill, a Senior Cross Country Captain and lifelong Groton resident, helped clinch the victory with a 10th place finish.
Tyngsborough senior Kyle Corkum tallied three touchdowns to lead the Tigers to a 23-20 decision over Groton-Dunstable in the tenth annual Colonel’s Cup on Thanksgiving Day. Corkum scored TDs in the first and third quarters while the Crusaders had given their fans nothing to cheer about.
