Warrant For Fall Town Meeting Closes Thursday, August 2

At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Select Board held on Monday, June 25, 2018. The Board voted to open the Warrant for the 2018 Fall Town Meeting. The Warrant will close at the close of business on Thursday, August 2, 2018.

   If any residents have Warrant articles they wish to be included in town meeting please contact members of your Select Board (selectboard@townofgroton.org). As always you can contact the Town Clerk for any citizen petition articles. 

   The following is the Warrant timeline:

• Monday, June 25, 2018 - Warrant for 2018 Fall Town Meeting Opens

• Thursday, August 2, 2018 - Warrant for 2018 Fall Town Meeting Closes

• Monday, August 6, 2018 - Select Board conducts first review of Articles

• Monday, August 20, 2018 - SB/FINCOM Public Hearing on Articles

• Monday, September 10, 2018 - Select Board finalizes Warrant

• Friday, September 14, 2018 - Post Warrant

Monday, October 1, 2018 - 2018 Fall Town Meeting
