Wanted: Information on Two Dog Bite Incidents

By George Moore, Groton Animal Control Officer

Groton Animal Control is seeking information on a bite incident that occurred on December 15th at Groton Place around 10:30 AM. A jogger was surrounded by 3 dogs running off-leash. One of them, a brown and white pit-bull (mix?) attacked her and bit her on her left forearm.

The owner of the dogs is described as a middle-aged male, stocky build, wearing camouflage clothes and wearing an orange stocking cap. He pulled the dog off the bite victim who ran away. There is a report that another woman had the same experience with this man and his dogs. This time the man walked away laughing. Please contact Groton Animal Control, 978-273-3651 or Groton Police, 978-448-5555 if you have information on this incident.
