Purchase and Sale for Tarbell School [with video]

Selectmen voted to enter into a Purchase & Sale Agreement with Kevin McGoniagle for the purchase of Tarbell School for the sum of $75,000. McGoniagle said he plans to convert the historic school into three condo units, one of which he plans to occupy.

Town Manager Mark Haddad pointed out that the town spent $35,000 for a new septic system at Tarbell and that this sale price allows the town to recoup some of that money. He added that the additional funds can only be used for capital projects.
