PUBLIC NOTICE: Assessors Notice of Public Disclosure

The Board of Assessors has completed the triennial certification assessment update as mandated by the Department of Revenue. Representatives from the Department of Revenue have certified that the proposed assessments are reflective of the real estate market as of January 1, 2013, which is the taxing date for Fiscal Year 2014. The median assessment to sales ratio is 1.00% for the qualified sales occurring January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012.

The assessments are available for your review at the Assessor's Office beginning Monday December 2, 2013 through Friday, December 6, 2013. Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M, Tuesday to Thursday 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Friday 8:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Assessments will also be available at the Groton Public Library.
