THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN MEETS Thursday, April 2 at 5:30 at Legion Hall for a 'Workshop' to discuss and identify the source of interpersonal conflict between them and whether to engage a mediator to help facilitate an improved working relationship.

VOTING MACHINES: Article 24 of the Spring Town Meeting Warrant will ask voters to authorize spending $20,000 for 3 new voting machines - one for each of Groton's three precincts - to replace 20-year old machines which are showing their wear, tending to jam, and approaching the end of their useful life.

THE SCHOOL COMMITTEE VOTED to approve the teachers contract after teachers ratified the contract on March 17th. The new agreement is effective September 1, 2014 through August 31, 2017. This agreement includes a 2.5% salary increase each year of the contract, with this year's increase to occur retroactively.
