Kauppi Asks For No Raise

Town Moderator Jason Kauppi has asked that the $500 for compensation slated for his elected position in the upcoming 2016 budget be removed and returned to the $65 that he has received in previous years.

According to Town Manager Mark Haddad, Kauppi asked for this change as he would be overseeing Article #4 for the Spring Town Meeting that asks voters to inform the Selectmen on whether or not they want them to renew Haddad's contract. [See story on this page]
