Maundy Thursday, April 2, 7:30 p.m. Holy Communion served.  Senior Choir will sing with traditional Tenebrae scripture readings accompanied by extinguishing lights symbolizing Christ's death. 

Good Friday, April 3, 12:30 p.m.

We'll read the biblical account and reflect on Jesus' death. 

Easter Sunday, April 5, 10 a.m.

Traditional Family Worship. Holy Communion will be served. 

Senior, Junior, and Cherub Choirs sing. Handbell Choir and Trumpet

Good Friday contemplative service with communion, special music at 7:30 PM April 3. Great Easter Vigil service Saturday, April 4, 7:30 PM, which is a Service of Light with solemn Eucharist, includes Bell and Anthem Choirs. 

 

Easter Sunday April 5. Choose from three services: 7:45 AM Holy Eucharist with music, 9 AM Family Eucharist with music, and 10:30 AM Traditional Festal Holy Eucharist with Anthem Choir. Sunrise Easter Service, April 5, 5:45 am

All welcome for the annual Easter Sunrise Service in field behind Bob and Becky Pine's house (100 Hollis St., Groton) with a beautiful view of Gibbet Hill. Dress warmly, hope for clear skies, bring your coffee and greet Easter morning. Service is brief, informal and full of the peace and beauty of sunrise on Easter morning. In case of heavy rain or snow (!), call the church office and listen to the outgoing recording or check the church website or facebook page. But we are counting on clear skies and spring like temperatures!

Easter Egg Hunt for Children of All Ages - April 5 at 9:30 am

Don't miss the Fifth Annual First Parish Easter Egg Hunt! Children of all ages, toddlers to teens are welcome 9:30 AM to hunt for surprise-filled eggs on the common in front of the church (or in Vestry if snow piles have not quite melted!) The older the kids, the harder eggs are hidden.Coffee and pastry for grown ups, fun for all.

Easter Celebration - April 5, 10 am

One service for all which focuses on joy and surprise of Easter Morning and celebration of renewal and rebirth. All welcome. There'll be childcare in the nursery and Growing Times for babies and toddlers. Coffee Hour to follow. Contributions of nut-free food are especially welcome.
