Groton Police are cautioning residents and visitors that if they want to visit Bancroft Castle, they should pay attention to the signs, otherwise it could make for an expensive visit to watch the sunset. There is parking – but it is limited from dawn to dusk – on the sides of the road, and no parking is allowed after dusk. Tow Zone signs have been added to areas where parking is considered hazardous for the traffic on Route #40.
