Groton Place Dog Bite Information Wanted

Groton Animal Control is seeking information on a dog-bite incident at Groton Place (AKA the dog park) which happened the weekend of August 15-16 around 11 A.M.

The biting dog was a brown pit-bull. A man and a woman with another smaller dog were walking it. The pit-bull was wearing an electronic control collar, which was used to stop the attack. The dog bitten was a chocolate lab.

If anyone has information on this incident please call George Moore, Groton Animal Control, 978-273-3651. Any information given will remain confidential. The caller will remain confidential as well.

We would like to mention to all who enjoy taking their dogs to Groton Place that their dogs need to be under control at all times. Any time dogs are allowed to run loose there is an inherent risk of confrontation and attack.

Groton Place is privately owned property and the safety of dogs and their walkers is the responsibility of all who use it. We are fortunate to have the privilege of using it.
