Nomination papers for Groton’s elected offices are available as of February 3, 2020. If you’ve thought about applying your skills or pursuing an interest serving in an elected capacity, now is the time! Almost all offices have an expiring terms.      Running for office is a straightforward activity. There is a simple process to be followed, beginning with collecting signatures for your nomination. The more interesting part is garnering votes based upon what you want to accomplish in serving as an elected official.
     Nomination papers can be obtained from the Town Clerk’s office. The process closes March 27. Please contact the Town Clerk at 978-448-1100 or townclerk@ if you have questions about running for an elected office.

     The Presidential Primary will be held on March 3, 2020. Polls willbeopenfrom7AMto8PM. There will be early Voting for the Primary. will be held the week of February 24.
