Dog Registration Deadline Extended

Under state law, dogs are to be registered every year in Massachusetts. Groton includes a reminder in the annual census to help people remember this annual responsibility. This year, the census mailing was delayed. The historic snowstorms have been preoccupying.
In recognition of these conditions, the dog registration deadline has been extended to March 13. Late fees will be in effect as of Monday, March 16. You may register your dog in person, by mail or online (www.townofgroton.org). Please also remember to return your census and the Cable Committee and Council on Aging surveys.
