Summer Experience at Nashoba Tech; School Also Offers Real Estate Course

Summer Experience at Nashoba Valley Technical High School offers opportunities for students entering grades five-nine. Summer Experience is four, weeklong sessions in July, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., where kids can acquire valuable, hands-on experience in such programs as Automotive Technology, Babysitting Basics, Cosmetology, Robotics, Web Graphics & Design, Java Programming, Computer Animation/Movie Making.

  

Tuition $299 per child, per week, before May 31, $349 after that date. An additional Summer Sports Training program will offer boys and girls, ages 8-17, an opportunity to learn and play several sports each day. Emphasis is placed on clinical instructor and group strategy. Program will run same four one-week sessions, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

   

Tuition for sports program $199 per child, per week, $249 after that date.

Real Estate Course

Nashoba Valley Technical High School will offer a 40-hour real-estate licensing course this summer to prepare those wishing to take the Massachusetts Realtors Exam, and is offered in conjunction with the Real Estate Institute of Massachusetts. It is in compliance with all state and local mandates. Classes will be held Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., starting Monday, July 7, at 100 Littleton Rd., Westford. Workforce funding may be available to employers wishing to train existing staff members.
