Seventh Graders Visit Tower Hill Botanic Garden

On two crisp and sunny fall mornings at the beginning of October, seventh graders from Groton-Dunstable Middle School toured the gardens at Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston. The science students are currently studying ways in which plant structures increase the rate of reproduction for the plant.
The tour guides led the students through various gardens pointing out examples of seed dispersal and flowering plants. Students were interested and engaged in this unique tour and only wished they had had more time in the gardens. This was the first time the seventh grade has visited TowerHill, and it ishopedthat it may be the beginning of a new fall tradition. Photo courtesy of Nancy Ohringer.
