SCHOOLS: Oak Meadow Scholarship

Oak Meadow School announced that it is committing money to fund the Oak Meadow Middle School Community Scholarship for local students entering middle school for the 2014-2015 school year. The scholarship program is aimed at admitting students with strong academic ability who demonstrate a devotion to learning, a good moral character, and exemplary citizenship.

For the 2014-2015 school year, a limited number of scholarships will be available to new middle school students, with grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000. Applicants who require additional assistance may apply for need-based financial aid. The Middle School Community Scholarship is renewed annually with re-enrollment through eighth grade graduation. Students who do not qualify for a Middle School Community Scholarship may be considered for admission to Oak Meadow, and may qualify for financial aid grants.

To be considered for admission, applicants are required to submit an application for admission; a school transcript; two teacher recommendations; one personal recommendation; and a personal statement. Applicants will then be invited to Oak Meadow for an interview and classroom visit.

Applications will be accepted until Friday, March 7, 2014, and may be submitted to Director of Admission and Parent Relations Erin Palmer at 2 Old Pickard Lane, Littleton, MA 01460.
