SCHOOLS: GDSTEM Summer Review Workbooks and Camp Scholarship

GDSTEM is again offering a way to help students maintain their academic skills over the summer months with Summer Skills TM Book Fundraiser. Summer Skills books are high-impact review workbooks for Math (Grades PreK-12), Language Arts (PreK-8), Spanish or French Review (MS/HS), and Study Skills.

Workbooks are discounted to $18 each, a savings of up to $5 off the direct order price. The publisher donates $1-2 from every book sold to GDSTEM, an all-volunteer organization promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education in the Groton and Dunstable communities.

GDSTEM is also pleased to announce a new $500 scholarship for students of GDRHS to attend a summer educational program or camp related to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering or Math. This scholarship is open to students of GDRHS currently enrolled in Grades 9, 10 and 11.

To apply, students should download the one-page application form from GDSTEM's website and return it to the High School Office with indicated essay and brochure no later than Wednesday, May 28. More info available in the GDRHS Guidance Office.
