SCHOOLS: DATE CHANGE -Creating Outdoor Classrooms at Applewild

The Applewild Speaker Series will present a talk by Sherri Ebner called "The Playground: "Our Outdoor Classroom: Creating Natural, Child-Centered Spaces to Encourage Exploration," Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 6:30, Applewild School Alumni Center for Performing Arts, 98 Prospect St. Fitchburg.

Ebner is former director of Burbank Child Development Center and is now a consultant for the Child Development Center at Applewild. Her program will detail how to create an outdoor classroom for preschoolers.

Open to the public, this talk will be of particular interest to early childhood educators who want to learn how to plan, design and create natural, child-centered spaces that will encourage exploration. Event will be in Applewild School Alumni Center for Performing Arts, 98 Prospect St., Fitchburg. Certificates of Participation will be available for early childhood educators.
