Officer Omar Connor Speaks on Opiod Prevention at H.O.P.E. Event

On Sunday, May 5 School Resource Office Omar Connor  participated in the H.O.P.E. (Hub of Opioid Prevention & Education) event sponsored by the Groton-Pepperell Rotary in association with NM Cares at Pepperell Town Field. The event featured a Knock-out Basketball competition, food trucks, live music and informational booths. Proceeds go to NM Cares and Recovery Support organizations in the community.

   Groton Police Department is a member of NW Middlesex Community Outreach Initiative Network (COIN), a 10-town collaborative seeking to assist those suffering from substance abuse and/or mental health disorders by connecting them with services and treatment options available.
