NVTHS Career Night, Open House

Nashoba Valley Technical High School hosts Career Night and Open House Wed., May 21, 6-9 p.m. Open to all eighth-graders in school's district and their parents, and all community members, will feature guided tours, senior-project presentations and special guests, including Sal Lupoli, Chelmsford resident and restaurateur, who will judge a pizza contest among Culinary Arts students at the school, and Steve D'Onofrio, director of photography for "This Old House."

Students and parents can meet and talk with academic and technical teachers, and tour Nashoba Tech's 18 programs, which include:

Automotive Collision Repair & Refinishing; Automotive Technology;

Banking, Marketing & Retail; Carpentry/Cabinet Making; Cosmetology;

Culinary Arts; Dental Assisting; Design & Visual Communications; Early

Childhood Education; Electrical Technology; Electronics/Robotics;

Engineering Technology; Health Assisting; Hotel & Restaurant

Management; Machine Tool Technology; Plumbing & Heating;

Programming & Web Development; and

TV & Media Production/Theatre Arts.
