Explore All Styles of Music at IHMS's Open House (And Concert)

Come and explore music in all of its forms at Indian Hill Music School's spring term Open House: Saturday, Feb. 8, 10 am - 1 pm at 36 King St., Littleton. Participate in free music activities for all ages-infants to adults - including instrument demos in rock, pop, folk, vocal, and classical styles; early childhood music class demos; and opportunities to meet and talk to our faculty. Attendees can register for lessons and classes (and save the registration fee).

Also, members of Indian Hill faculty will offer a free concert of music from around the world at 10:30 am.

"Come and experience all we have to offer first-hand," says Michael Havay, IHMS Director of Education. "Students young and old can get the feel of a particular instrument at ongoing demonstrations for brass, piano, percussion, strings, winds, guitar, and voice. Families with young children can participate in family music-making activities, including songs and playing simple percussion instruments. You can also speak directly to staff and faculty members to get answers to questions about private and group lesson experiences."

Indian Hill's Open House is free and open to the public. Directions: from Rte. 495, take Exit 30 (Rte. 2A/110), turn left and continue .6 miles to the Indian Hill Music building. For more info, call (978) 486-9524 or visit www.indianhillmusic.org to check out spring term lesson and class offerings.
