Nashoba Valley Chorale Performs Verdi Requiem

Nashoba Valley Chorale and Symphony New Hampshire, along with Celeste Fraser, soprano, Erica Brookhyser, mezzo-soprano, John David Nevergall, tenor, and Dana Whiteside, bass, will come together for a performance of Verdi's Requiem, Saturday, April 23, 8 p.m. in the Acton-Boxborough Regional High School Auditorium.

VERDI'S REQUIEM is a piece of drama, operatic yet with a deeply spiritual center. It has moments when the entire 70-plus piece orchestra is playing with the four soloists and 125 voices of the Chorale, all at once; and it has moments where only two voices sing. Nashoba Valley Chorale has been working toward this performance for a few years, as each of our seasons has seen us attract more singers and larger audiences.
