" IN A MANGER" Exhibit Features 400 Nativity Sets
14th annual "In a Manger" Nativity Exhibition at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church will be Sat., Dec. 13 10 am-5 pm and Sun., Dec. 14, 1 to 4 pm in the Parish Hall, 7 Faulkner St., Ayer.
"This year there will be more than 400 Nativity sets representing more than 75 countries" said Carolyn Smith, event coordinator. "Some of the Nativity scenes are family heirlooms, others are folk art Nativity sets collected by parishioners and area MA residents."
There will be a variety of tabletop and miniature Nativities, and a Christmas tree decorated with ornaments of Nativity scenes.
The public is welcome to display their favorite Nativity scenes and ornaments by dropping them off at the Parish Hall before noon Friday, Dec. 12, with pick-up after 4 pm Sun., Dec. 14.
