DUCKY WUCKY Rotary Race

Ducky Wucky River Race will celebrate its 25th anniversary May 9 when a lucky person will win dinner for two anywhere in the world.  The grand prize will go to holder of ticket paired with the bib number on the first rubber ducky to cross the finish line on the Nashua River.

Past winners have flown to exotic locations including Australia, South Africa, Bali and Japan. Grand prize includes airfare, two nights hotel accommodations and dinner for two. There are dozens of runner up prices donated by local businesses.

 

This race is a fundraiser for Ayer Rotary Club, which donates funds to charitable causes in Ayer, Harvard, Shirley and Devens. Tickets start at $5 and are on sale from members of Ayer Rotary Club and at Gervais Ford, Bull Run Restaurant and Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce.

 

Race, starts at 4:30 p.m. which caps a day of family fun that begins at 10 a.m., May 9 on Harvard's Town Common, with 63rd Annual Apple Blossom Festival. Featuring live entertainment, artisan and craft displays, and delicious food. Fstival is free and open to all. Also, last chance to buy tickets for the big race.
