French for the Littles, Hot Books for Youth, Love Letters for Adults, and More
Sat, Feb 2, 10:30 -11:30 am. French program for ages PreK-grade 3. Katy Niose, French teacher from the Applewild School, will present this fun ‘immersion’ experience in which she will introduce children ages PreK to grade 3 to French culture and language through singing, games, speaking and hands-on activities.
YOUNG ADULT EVENTS:
Hot Books, Hot Cocoa Bar! Grades 6-12. Tuesdays, Jan 8-Mar 26 (except Feb. 19), 3-4 pm. We provide hot chocolate, marshmallows, whipped cream, and extra goodies, you bring a book and cozy up for an hour of warmth and reading.
Literary Café Grades 6-12. One Thursday a month, 7-8 pm: Feb 7. Gather with other readers, writers, and illustrators in a relaxed and informal way, to read, draw, create, and share. Light refreshments served.
Magic the Gathering for Grades 6-12. We usually meet every other week on Wednesday afternoons, 3-5 pm: Jan 30, Feb 13. Come play in a fun and relaxed way. New members always welcome.
Make & Take Club for Grades 6-12. Various art & craft activities, usually twice a month on Wednesdays after school, 3-4:30 pm. Feb 6: Art Class with Sherri Hoffman
Tue, Feb 12, 7-8:30 pm. Anonymous Love Letters. Join Life Coach Laura Klain for an evening of writing inspirational notes and letters that you can give to family, friends, or total strangers! Spread kindness in an unexpected way: leave a note in a public space, at the airport, in a book at the library, or anywhere you feel so inclined!
