Groton Residents: Dean's Lists, Graduates, and College Bound

Deans Lists

Adrianna M. Pulford, daughter of Laureen and John Pulford of Groton, has been named to the Dean's List at Hamilton College, Clinton, N.Y., for the 2013 spring semester. Pulford, a rising junior majoring in economics, is a graduate of Groton School.

Caitlin Enright of Groton has been named to the dean's list at Quinnipiac University for the spring 2013 semester.

Hunter David Lambert of Groton has been named to the dean's list at James Madison University for the spring 2013 semester. Lambert is a sophomore whose major is Finance - BBA.

James McLean of Groton, member of the class of 2014, has been named to the Dean's List at Providence College for the spring 2013 semester.

Courtney Cushion of Dunstable, has been named to the Springfield College Dean's List for the spring 2013 term. Cushion is studying Psychology.

Congratulations to Hans Riemer, class of 2014 from Groton, who achieved Dean's High Honors at Nichols College in Dudley.

Shannon Urato of Groton was named to the Dean's List at New England College in Henniker, N.H., for the spring 2013 semester. Urato is a Junior at NEC.

Graduates

Justin Alonzo of Groton graduated from Castleton College, Castleton, VT, during the 226th commencement Saturday, May 18, 2013. Alonzo earned a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Business Administration.

Nicholas Paul Sullivan of Groton received a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Norwich University at a May 11, 2013 commencement ceremony.

Jessica Lunt, from Groton, graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Business Administration during a spring commencement ceremony, held Sunday, May 19, 2013.

College Bound

 Jacob Riggert, son of Karen and David Riggert of Groton, will attend the University of Delaware. He was singled out at LA's Founders' Day in the fall of his senior year to receive the school's Greater Good Award in recognition of his efforts to use his education to make the world a better place.  

Aubrey Solomon, son of Alice and George Solomon of Groton, will attend Stonehill College, where he will play baseball for the Skyhawks.

Philip Titcomb, son of Gloria and Jay Titcomb of Groton, will attend Cornell University He was inducted into the school's chapter of the national Cum Laude Society this spring. During the ceremonies, he was also presented with the Language Prize for achievement in Spanish.

Cameron W. Murphy of Groton, a graduate of High Mowing School, will attend Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y., as a member of the Class of 2017. Murphy, who will be majoring in mechanical engineering, will begin studying at Clarkson in the fall.
