Degrees and Honors

Groton residents recently earned university degrees and school honors in schools near and far. 
KTH Royal Institute of Technology
Samuel T. Lindemer graduated from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden in December, 2019 with a Master of Science degree in Embedded Systems and has been accepted into a PhD program in Cyber Security at Uppsala University in Uppsala, Sweden. Sam graduated from the Francis W. Parker Essential School in Devens, MA in 2012 and received a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in 2012. He is the son of Kevin and Christine Lindemer of Groton.
Fitchburg State University
Laura J. Calisi of Groton received her BS in Nursing during Fitchburg State University’s 123rd commencement exercises, winter ceremony, on Friday, Dec. 20, 2019. Calisi was among more than 600 undergraduate and graduate students who received degrees.
College of Charleston
Jack Murphy of Groton graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the College of Charleston (SC) during the college’s Winter Commencement on December 14, 2019. Murphy was among more than 600 bachelor’s degree and master’s degree candidates who participated in the annual ceremony.
Fenn School of Concord
Announces that Hans Scheibe of Groton, class of 2021, has been named to the academic high honors roll for the first term.
Derryfield School
William Mancini of Groton, Class of 2021, received Honors for the fall trimester at The Derryfield School.
