Christine Muir Andrea Chiriboga-Flor
Christine Muir of Dunstable is Director at Savoir Media, a boutique strategic communications firm based in Boston, which recently won two awards for Best Public Relations Campaign of 2012: a Gold International Stevie Award for Women in Business for "Communications Campaign of the Year - Marketing - B2B," and a Bronze winner for "PR Campaign of the Year" by the Best in Biz Awards, the only independent business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts.
Andrea Chiriboga-Flor B.A. '12 from Lewis and Clark College was awarded 2012 prize for best undergraduate paper from Society of Urban, National, and Transnational/Global Anthropology(SUNTA), a section of the American Anthropological Association. Her award-winning paper, "The Whole World is Watching: An Ethnographic Study of Spatiality, Identity, and Marginalization Within the Occupy Portland Movement," was excerpted from her senior sociology/anthropology thesis, which was based on original fieldwork about the Occupy Portland camp and its relationship to Jobs for Justice. Chiriboga-Flor's paper was nominated by Deborah Heath, associate professor of anthropology.
