Casey O’Connor Appointed Full-Time Groton Police Officer

When Casey O'Connor was seven, she drew a picture for the Westford Police Department thanking officers for keeping us safe after 9/11. This drawing is framed and displayed at the Westford PD. Recently, Officer Casey O'Connor graduated from the Methuen Police Academy.

Casey started with Groton Police Department as an intern her senior year of high school and was appointed a Reserve Officer in August 2019. She was appointed a full-time officer January 3, 2020. Her graduation was not public so the Police Department held a small tribute for her accomplishment. Town Clerk Michael Bouchard was present to swear in Officer O'Connor officially as a full-time police officer. All present offered their congratulations to Officer Casey O’Connor for a job well done.
