Upcoming Events at Bigelow Library Clinton

What’s Happening at the Bigelow Library? Curbside pick-up, programming and by appointment only computer/faxing and printing, that’s what!
     Even during the pandemic, the Bigelow library is here to help you! We are still providing library loans (order online with the pick-up location as “Clinton” or call a library staff member for help) keeping safety first in mind with curbside pick-up provided from our “Book Shack”. Discount museum passes are still available for access to the museums and parks which have opened to the general public. We continue to provide wonderful programs to patrons of all ages, just check out our library calendar at http://bigelowlibrary. org/calendar/ for the list of upcoming events and how to register.          And we are now providing access to the library’s technology (computers, printers and faxes) by limited, appointment only access with strict social distancing guidelines in place for everyone’s safety. “Salsa Dancing on the Lawn” with Rebecca Sonn.
     The library will be starting back up with our Salsa dancing classes, but this time we will be holding socially distanced instruction and practice on the library’s front lawn. Partners are not required but face masks are. Rebecca Sonn of Salsa Worcester will be here to teach the basics of the Salsa dancing technique. • Monday, September 14 @ 6:30pm-“Live from the Library- It’s Knock on Wood!”
Free Out-door Concert at the Bigelow Library.
     Howie Newman and Joe Kessler (a.k.a. Knock on Wood) have teamed up to form a lively acoustic duo that plays funny original and cover songs suitable for all ages. Knock on Wood will be performing a free outdoor concert at the Bigelow Free Public Library, 54 Walnut St., on Monday, September 14th from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
     “We’re not the traditional guitar-and-fiddle combo”, says Newman, “Joe and I like to keep things up-tempo, and do a lot of rock covers and get the audience involved. The idea is to play some music and have fun”.
