Freedom's Way National Heritage Area Launches Weekly Photo Challenge

In the wake of cancelling its sixth annual, month-long Hidden Treasures program due to the ongoing pandemic, Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area has launched the Hidden Treasures Photo Challenge.
“We do not want to lose sight of what Hidden Treasures provides—an opportunity to explore, share, and celebrate the people, places, and stories of the Heritage Area’s 45 communities. We may just have to do it a little differently this year,” says Executive Director, Patrice Todisco.
A new theme will be announced in the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area Facebook Group every Friday from now through September.  Themes range from “Birds of a Feather,” to “We All Scream for Ice Cream,” to “This Old House,” inspiring us to discover the nature, culture, and history of a region that has a uniquely American story to tell. Join us on Facebook and show us your Hidden Treasures today!
Photographers of all skill levels are invited to share original photos that are related to that week’s theme and were taken within the Heritage Area. Photos may be old or new. Each week one participant will be selected at random to receive a $25 gift certificate to a local business.
