Troy Charles Fulton

Troy Charles Fulton, 57, of Groton, passed away suddenly Sunday, February 17, 2019. Troy is survived by his beloved wife, Eleanor Fulton, and cherished daughters, Caroline and Emily.

Born on February 11, 1962, he was the son of Charles and the late, Ronney Fulton. Troy graduated from Boston College with a degree in English and Communication and later went on to earn his MBA from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA.

Troy spent the majority of his product marketing career with Motorola Mobility in Lowell after several years with Nokia. More recently, Troy was the Director of Product Marketing for Tangoe, Inc. in Waltham, leaving to drive product and marketing strategy as CMO for start-up venture, MicroNergy. Troy’s vast knowledge of the technical marketing industry, leadership abilities and strong presentation skills were recognized by the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at the College of William and Mary. Troy went on to collaborate, mentor and teach MBA students over a period of eight years, which he enjoyed tremendously and found extremely rewarding.

In addition to his adoring wife and daughters, Troy is survived by his father, Charles “Jack” Fulton; his twin brother, Tyler Fulton; his sister Joy Fulton; his other brothers, Tod Fulton and Tab Fulton and his sister-in-law, Missy, and their children, Connor, Sophia and Lila. Troy is also survived by his mother-in-law, Jutta Heiner, and his brother-in-law, Michael Heiner.

Troy’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife and daughters. He was warm, caring and always eager to help others in any way even without being asked. Throughout his life, Troy volunteered in a number of organizations beginning with Santa Claus Anonymous, where he worked with disadvantaged children in Boston, and later served on the boards of his daughters’ school and his neighborhood association. He was very enthusiastic, had a wonderful laugh and a quick smile. He enjoyed annual summer trips with extended family to the beach in Delaware. We will always hold him within our hearts.
