Obituary: Elizabeth R. Stone

Elizabeth R. Stone, 83, long-time resident of Groton, MA and Marion, MA, died peacefully as the result of cancer on the 25th of July 2015, at Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston .

Betty was the daughter of Clifton Rice and Doris Rice of Haverhill , MA and was preceded in death by her brothers Richard Rice and Ranny Rice.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Al Stone, her children Susan Titterton and her husband Bob Titterton, Karen Stone and her husband David Schulz, David Stone and his wife Pam Stone, Steven Stone and his wife Jennifer Stone, and Debbie MacDonald and her husband Scott MacDonald, and her fourteen grandchildren Kevin Titterton and his wife Katie Titterton, Emily Titterton and her husband Brian Keats, Patrick Titterton, Ian Schulz, Alex Schulz, Lydia Schulz, Tom Stone, Peter Stone, Will Stone, Elizabeth Stone, Ben Stone, Chris MacDonald, Dan MacDonald, and Anna MacDonald, and her great-grandson Russell Titterton.

The Stone family invites everyone to join them in the celebration of Betty's life at their home at 12 Farmers Row in Groton at 1 PM on August 22, 2015.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Elizabeth R. Stone to support cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168 , Boston , MA 02284 .
