OBITUARY: Christina Wright

Christina Wright, daughter of the late Groton School headmaster, Paul Wright, and his wife, Margaret (Gainer) Wright, died Friday, February 15, 2013. Tina brought determination, curiosity, pursuit of knowledge, and an artist's eye to 63 years of life. During the last five years, she also brought courage in dealing with cancer.

For a number of years, Tina was a teacher/supervisor of reading in Bridgeton, ME where her intellect, understanding of children, and creativity, inspired and greatly influenced the lives of both children and adults.

Returning to Concord to care for parents, she set up her own business and expanded her teaching to include energy work, kinesiology, Brain Gym, and intuitive healing. She was able to "open doors of possibility" for children and was also able to help adults develop skills for work, recreation and everyday life.

Friends remember Tina as a keen observer of both nature and people. She was also a storyteller and could relate in detail dreams and visions, bringing them to life in the telling. As an artist, she carved birds with grace and lightness, took amazing photographs, and began working with watercolor.

Friends and family are inspired by her talents, her courage, her determination, and her love of life.

A Memorial Service will be held at Virginia Thurston Healing Garden, 145 Boston Rd., Harvard Tuesday, May 21, from 2-4 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to the Healing Garden above.
