Town Wide Valuation of All Real Estate Begins Oct. 2016

Town Manager Mark Haddad announced that a Town Wide Valuation Study for real estate properties will begin in October 2016.

This will involve listing and measuring all properties, Haddad said. According to Assessor Jonathan Greeno this is a Certification for the Department of Revenue and occurs every three years.

Selectman Chairman Jack Petropoulos said there had been concern raised about assessments and wanted to be sure that the assessments were accurate and that no one was overtaxed. "Haddad replied "yes "that they were accurate.
