Family Dollar Store Coming To Groton?

Groton Social Media sites are a-buzz with rumors that a Family Dollar store is coming to Shaw’s Plaza. By press time, Family Dollar’s corporate office had not confirmed the rumor, however Land Use Director Takashi Tada said he had received  a request for sign specifications from a subcontrator for Family Dollar stores for the plaza at the Four Corners where Shaw’s is located. Tada said the only town approval that Family Dollar would probably need would be an appearance before the Sign Committee.  Nearby Family Dollar stores are located in Ayer and Townsend.
