BOS: Report on Assessors Issues On Agenda For Dec.12 Meeting

DPW Praised For First Snowfall Effort

Town Manager's Report on Assessors Issues
Town Manager’s report of events leading to issues raised by elected Assessors has been completed, and a draft sent to the Board of Assessors, another member of the assessor’s office, and the BoS for comment. The completed report, written at the direction of the BoS, is scheduled for review at Selectmen’s Dec. 12 meeting. The report will be discussed prior to the setting of the tax rate, at Selectman Degen’s request.

Thanks to the DPW
Selectman Pease praised Groton DPW’s road-clearing work, especially in outlying areas of town during the first snowfall of the season. He said, “This is a result of the pride the DPW feels for the town,” adding, “We owe them a huge thank you for everything they do.”
