We Truly Appreciate The Collaboration With Lawrence Academy

November is a time of year to especially reflect upon and acknowledge all that we have to be grateful for in our lives. In the true spirit of this, Groton Community School would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped us to make a new home at 14 Main Street for the 2019-20 school year, while our permanent site at 110 Boston Road is being renovated and expanded.
We truly appreciate the collaboration with Lawrence Academy in making this a possibility, and their warm welcome and kind gestures, as we made the big move here to Lawrence Academy grounds at the end of August!
Now that our GCS children have all settled into their classrooms for another year of learning and growing, we wanted to say thank you for the amazing kindness and extra support everyone at LA has continued to give to us, and the extra care and attention provided each time we call and ask for a helping hand as tenants. Special acknowledgement to Bob Kraemer (Assistant Head of School for Finance and Operations), Carl Anderson (Director of Buildings and Grounds) and his grounds crew, and Carol Figgins for being flexible, and courteous, and always keeping a watchful eye out for our best interests.
We are truly excited about our school year here at LA, and our future through our Forward Motion Project just down the street at 110 Boston Road. We hope community members will join us in appreciating Lawrence Academy and everyone who played a part in our temporary relocation, and learn more about our expansion effort at www. gcsforwardmotion.org.

Sincerely,
Groton Community School
